Sejak dulu lagi, ayat ini aku recite bila ada orang meninggal dunia. Bila dah exposed dengan dunia internet dan aku banyak membaca forum agama jadi aku gunakan setiap kali aku dengar berita yang kurang baik. Pernah sekali, teman aku beritahu yang anak dia terjatuh. Aku mengucapkan ayat Innalillah. terus dia terkejut dan muka nya merah. Katanya, anak nya belum mati lagi. Lalu aku menerangkan bukan niat aku begitu tapi ayat ini bukan untuk digunakan apabila mendenar kematian tapi apabila ada perkara yang tak baik. Sebaiknya kita recite ayat ini. In the name of Allah, the Most-Merciful, the All-Compassionate "May the Peace and Blessings of Allah be Upon You" Praise be to Allaah, we seek His help and His forgiveness. We seek refuge with Allaah from the evil of our own souls and from our bad deeds. Whomsoever Allaah guides will never be led astray, and whomsoever Allaah leaves astray, no one can guide.
